Dr. Maulik Shah

Dr. Maulik Shah

Medical Director

Dr. M. Shah is our Medical Director.  Dr. Shah has an MD and Ph.D. degree from the Medical College of Virginia. He completed clinical residency training in Internal Medicine and a Fellowship in Clinical Genetics at the Baylor College of Medicine (Houston, TX).  Dr. Shah holds numerous academic appointments and has authored numerous abstracts and scientific papers in the fields of genetics and Precision Medicine.

Terry Mcgowan

 Terrance McGowan is a Co-Founder and the CEO of Welltality. Terrance was the first employee of Welltality and was initially responsible for business development and developing the company’s service model. Terrance became the Welltality COO in 2016 and was responsible for customer service, implementations, payroll, call center operations, and product development. In his time as COO, he leads Welltality from a stand-alone annual wellness visit technology to a provider of comprehensive annual wellness visit services completing 38,000 annual wellness visits to date. In March of 2020, he was promoted to Welltality CEO. In his first year as CEO, he has led Welltality through the Covid-19 pandemic. In this time he has executed significant operational cost reductions, secured 2 PPP loans, and has transitioned all clients from the full-service staffing model to a robust remote service offering. Prior to Welltality, he worked for the University of Florida Department of Dermatology. There he was responsible for growing the dermatopathology lab and promoting the newly created Jacksonville, FL clinic. During his time with UF, he doubled the volume of the dermatopathology lab and helped successfully launch the new clinic in Jacksonville 

Terrance has a Masters of Health Administration from The University of Florida. He currently lives in Jacksonville, FL. In his free time, he likes to exercise, paddleboard, and play guitar.

Dana Janney is our Director of Sales. Dana has a Bachelor of Science in Applied Kinesiology and Physiology from the University of Florida. She has fostered relationships with insurance carriers, brokers, and employer contacts for the past 5 years with a focus on employee benefits.

Today, Welltality proudly performs and provides Annual Wellness Visit management for family care, primary care physicians, health systems, and health plans patients. We start by simply and securely uploading the provider's Medicare patient roster. Next, we run patient eligibility and from there, we reach out to the patients on behalf of the doctor and schedule them for their Annual Wellness Visit. Our Wellassessment software generates a preventive care plan including identification of care gaps and downstream revenue opportunities.
